Today I want to talk about you. I've now written this blog for a little over ten months. I've posted 244 pieces on everything under the sun. I go back and re-read postings often and I have a wide variety of reactions. Some pieces I re-read and can't believe I wrote the piece. They have depth and are in some cases much more profound than I could ever be. Others I re-read and can't believe I could write about something so trivial. But in the end I keep writing to express who I am and how this quirky mind of mine works. I am blessed to have an editor who proofreads everything I write and I trust if I get too crazed she will let me know.
I am averaging around 12 listed readers every day. But I want you to know that my blog site is far from finished. I have a friend who will work on it in the future and he will get it set up so that a subscription means you will be notified every time I post a piece. It is not working that way right now but we will get it corrected.
I just had a friend who visited a cou[ple days ago. She reads my blog daily then forwards my piece to four other people (who are also friends of mine.). This means I have a number of secondary readers who don't show up on the site. I give thanks for that.
I an also so excited when I get an email that is a comment from a reader about one of my pieces. The comments make a difference to me.
So I give thanks this day for our community that have come together to read and discuss a piece that touches your heart. I am often amazed as I sit down to write. I start off with a particular theme and before I am through I have gone in an entirely different direction. Please keep your comments coming; some of these topics are worthy of long discussions. Some don't make sense to me so I need feedback if I am the one who is crazy.
Thus each day I will sit down with a blank screen and see what comes up next. Then I will share it. It is the only way I can make sense of this planet and this life..............
