In the midst of the pain and the chaos and the struggle a jewel is emerging. It has been forged in the spiritual side of this human life. It was not foreseen and there was no way to realize I would end up here. It took the work of a village and the sculptor strokes of a heavenly artis to add input to this product not yet finished.
Yet at this point there remains huge amounts of self-doubt and this day, this short afternoon rarely occurs. I am in a moment of the rarest of feelings that is so rare I don't always recognize it. It is the feeling of satisfaction.
For just a moment I am right where I am meant to be. Not only that but I believe it! All of us hit this time now and then. It is important to enjoy the moment and know that it might be the truth all the time. Ah, but throw in ego and 'learning by mistakes' and growth and we back away from the possibility as quickly as we can. We can't be that good! We can't impact people like that! It is an illusion because of course we are seriously flawed,
What if in our search for self-awareness using self-care we actually are attaining the goal of Abraham Maslow. We are actually going through self-actualization. What an amazing journey!
