Last night I was wending my way down one of the many 'rabbit holes' of the internet. It is still amazing that we have all the knowledge and information of the world in our hands in an instant. Our biggest job is determining what is truthful information and what is information being produced to influence our thoughts, provide a false narrative, or just make an impact to lead away from the truth.
I never thought I would come to a point that a celebrity could be listed as having died - and I had to take steps to verify it thoroughly to make sure. I have on a previous occasion been told that a friend had died. I was devastated and could not believe I was getting this news. I put out a brief thought about my grief having lost this dear friend.
Imagine my chagrin two days later when my 'dead' friend called me and wanted to let me know she was far from deceased. Everything we hear can easily be false and in this modern world people love to produce 'fake' news. I read three different newspapers (application on line actually - who would actually be reading a paper that you could hold in your hands - so old fashioned) - each from a different part of the world. This gives me some balance in news information and still I'm never quite sure.
I ended up watching a clip of a late night talk show. They decided to do one of the iconic scenes from the production of "The Lion King." This is the musical that put together some of the most amazing costuming and choreography ever seen to produce the illusion of wild animals of all sizes, shapes, and forms dancing on stage. I spent the entire time in tears and I realized how much of our lives we touch moments like that.
I believe people touch into their Divine spirituality and often times that occurs in the field of music, art, stage productions, or movies. When people achieve the visions they set a sacred space that is so special.
When I was growing up now and then we would have long periods of time when the rains came to our area. There were the times when we were at home but we could not really go out and play. The rains forced alternative ways of spending indoor time. We would take all the dining room chairs and the dining room table and cover them all with blankets. We would then have a fort which was precious and sacred and was ours. It wasn't for the adults. We could hide.
Sometimes when someone puts together a play production or a movie, or the words and music to a song - the same thing happens. Suddenly everyone listening or watching is in a sacred, secret place together. This is a place where we are all one and the sense of vision puts us into tears. For a moment, just a moment we share a Divine moment with spirit and with each other. It doesn't last long because our ego can get embarrassed being in this place. But oh - when you've joined another human being in this place; you've shared a precious moment that bonds you in a deeper way than ever imagined. I treasure the moments and am so thankful to the people who surrender to the visions. Thank you God..........
