Perfect Teacher

I have always been on a quest for knowledge which will help me be a better man. So for some twenty years I took many trainings and workshops to be aware of what was in the marketplace.

I went through the training for the UYO Program using the methods of Dr. Adler, a colleague of Dr. Freud; I was certified in the French method of release; I took a two-year program using herbs and essential oils; I took the full training to become a certified hypnotherapist; I took training using Reiki and became a master; I took training on channeling the wisdom of the universe; I took training on reflexology, and I took other trainings to get better at what I did.

When I was certified as a clinical hypnotherapist, I had a data base from the workshop programs I had been involved in and I contacted everyone. In addition, I spent the first two years of my practice finding the very best in the different fields of alternative medicine, ranging from Rolfing to Chiropracting and signed up for sessions from the best to find out what was working. Boy, I got tired just reading about all of this.

Suddenly I came to a point when I realized something that had to do with trust and with faith. I realized that I did not have to spend $500 to $1000 during a weekend to get specialized training.

I had within me the perfect teacher who was already teaching me what I needed to know. My curriculum was put together by God just for me, and my teachers and my issues would trigger the perfect learning curves. My job was to keep moving forward.

Since that personal discovery, I looked forward each day to a new day of classes put together by Spirit to teach me in a most effective way lessons of growth and spiritual adventure.

Now because it is a school I have enrolled in by coming in birth to this planet, it also means I don't always understand all of the syllabus. So one of the additional qualities I bring to the table is the trust that even though it is confusing, it is also filled with holy wisdom.

This then is our obligation to continue to attend our daily classes in full presence and in the spirit of the learning that is ours. How are you doing in your learning curve?
