This is my 200th blog since I started and I want to state some of my beliefs that I mostly believe though sometimes I wonder. I started the blog on August 9th of 2023; the blogs represent my life through my long-term hospitalization and all the procedures and through rehab and home health care. I'm home working hard to re-establish stamina and the ability to live life independently.
First, with all the people I've met from all walks of life, there is an evident truth. We're all doing the best we can. In addition, we are right where we are meant to be!" Sometimes we are able to do some tasks brilliantly and sometimes not as well. We don't always make choices from the highest level of spirituality.
Sometimes triggers and ego get in the way and we later look back and realize we probably should have taken a deep breath and counted to ten. It is the movement toward Buddhism; tis' much better to respond than react.
No matter what it feels like, God is always with us. This includes those times when we don't think we can feel God - He/She is still there,
Our body is totally temporary. At some point, it starts to wear out. Getting up in the morning is not as easy as it used to be.
I often wonder if we will come to a place in life where some things will be illegal and we will need a permit to eat it. Breakfast cereals because of the sugar; soda and energy drinks because of the caffine because of the impact on the kidneys. We walk the supermarket and for the most part are unconscious consumers. We throw things into our body which are not good for us. They speed up the aging and deterioration of our body. But we plow ahead.
Even with the health challenges I am in the midst of facint I still don't always take healthy steps. There will come a time in July when our peppers and tomatoes will ripen. At that point, we will buy a couple pounds of bacon and for two days have fresh
BLT sandwiches. We do that once a year - we're both in our 70's and we enjoy every juicy bite of each sandwich.
As we watch and listen to what is happening in the world, we will be confused. We will not be able to understand why some people take actions. In fact, the question is always, "What must they be thinking to do that?"
There are only so many moments we are on this planet. It means we can't miss the opportunities to say things to each other. This ranges from people who are mean to us, to actions which are so precious we find ourselves being totally authentic.
Live your life as if it was your only one! Talk to you soon..............
